Bahubali Review: The Perfect Movie Hangover
Indian cinema is no more playing with half-baked VFX for
sure. With Bahubali: The Beginning, filmmaking in India surely created a
benchmark which will motivate and inspire other filmmakers to create cinematic
marvel. I was thrilled to see its trailer on Youtube month ago. It created an
inner urge to see what Bahubali has in store for me. I never expected a Troy,
LOTR or a 300 from Indian film industry in near future but Bahubali proved me
wrong.
The whole movie was a work of art, the finest masterpiece
and a huge epic drama. Larger than life imageries, fantastic war techniques and
an outstanding story telling make Bahubali the biggest blockbuster in India.
Every frame of the movie was handcrafted with panache. Mr. S. S. Rajamouli, the
director of this epic movie has done what no other filmmaker in India has done
so far. He gave us a film to be proud of.
The film exudes excellence throughout. I am a big Lord of
the Rings fan and by watching this movie, I could see our own LOTR. Bahubali is
fully Indian, from clothes to location, from music to VFX, CGI, this movie
created an aura of magnificence. There are many highlights in this movie that
will give you goose bumps. Prabhas (the protagonist) plays the perfect frontman
in this movie. Rana Daggubati's character surely gave us an idea of the first
Indian super villain. Sathyaraj as Kattappa was brilliant and Prabhakar as
Kalakeya king stole the show with his new found diction Kiliki. All praises for
Srinivas Mohan, the VFX chief who rendered unseen visuals. After watching this
movie, I had a long good hangover and I surely love it.
